2026 Scholarhips

We are committed to providing teachers with opportunities to continue their professional development so as to design instruction and assessments from first-hand learning experiences. Teachers who participate in the National Spanish Exam (NSE), National Spanish Challenge (NSC), National Portuguese Exam (NPE), and/or the National Spanish Assessment (NSA) are eligible to apply for AATSP Exams (NSE) Teacher Awards.

 Travel to and study the language and the culture of a Spanish-speaking country or territory. During the summer of 2026 students will be traveling to Salamanca, Spain with Cursos Internacionales de la Universidad de Salamanca. All US/Spain travel arrangements and coordination will be handled by Xperitas Immersion Travel. 

The award includes 20 hours of Spanish language instruction at the University of Salamanca, local transportation, tours, meals, and insurance. Your group will stay at the USAL Student Residences during their stay.

 Travel Scholarship

Traditional Scholarship

Awards a one-time $1,000 monetary prize in support of students’ post-secondary studies. Please read the rules and requirements carefully before submitting your application.

AATSP Exams is offering either on-site placement at the Concordia Language Villages or virtual placement with United Planet. The Kevin Cessna-Buscemi Global Citizen Scholarship covers the cost of tuition for either week-long immersion program (Concordia or United Planet).
